Kulit Pisang is a project initiated by 3 plus 1 young Malaysians who feel that cyberspace has become saturated with anti-government sentiments that a counter-cultural effort needs to be unleashed for Malaysians to truly get a balanced point of view from the Internet. Unashamedly pro-BN without losing sight of the coalition’s many shortcomings, Kulit Pisang is essentially a venture to populate a vacant space where fair-minded arguments can be put forth, ensuring that the Opposition gets its share of rollicking.

However the different elements that make up BN support require Kulit Pisang to accommodate that diversity in its editorial team, even with a shared end-game in sight. The project is thus fortunate that the 3 individuals behind it are different characters whose reasons for supporting BN vary.

Mr.T has described himself as an almost-disillusioned UMNO man who after ten years of active support, fears that the party is nowhere near discovering why it exists. His trusted old friend and foil Mr. D is unmistakably committed to the Malay cause – as he defines it – to the point that all means must be considered to ensure the advancement of the Malays (S: I blame Bentham). The newcomer Mr.S is still learning a lot about politics and UMNO, constantly searching for the equilibrium where racial pride and the intuitive desire for justness meet. Plus not to forget Mr. J the swashbuckling webmaster who is always there to refresh.
